A monograph on Stanley Donwood, classic rock band Radiohead's artist.
No music will ever take the place of Radiohead for me. As I began to fall in love with the band's music, I found myself constantly mesmerized by the visuals. Not the album sleeves, but everything that comes before them. The hundreds of sketchbook pages, the scribbles, the indecipherable handwriting. The monomania that comes with each album. The work of Stanley Donwood feels like a lucid representation of my own mind, and I felt that long before discovering the artist behind the work.
